Dani Martineck

Dani Martineck is a New York-based actor and writer with a passion for stories that help us feel less alone. They are a published playwright and an Audie- and Earphones Award-winning audiobook narrator, known for emotionally layered narration for Big Five publishers and bestselling authors, and for queer and genre roles on screen.

Dani's sensory short film about grief and healing, The Rushing of the Sea, earned nominations for best screenplay and wins in multiple categories during its festival run. They have also guest written popular episodes of Girl Tales, a feminist fairytale podcast for young listeners. On screen, they had a recurring role on Blue Bloods and appeared in Succession, and they have done classical and contemporary theater in Tennessee and New York City.

Dani also offers guided meditations, bringing their experience with audio storytelling, a soothing voice, their own regular meditation and mindfulness practice, and an intention to serve our collective healing. They describe these offerings as coming from a peer level rather than from a certified meditation teacher, and invite listeners to use their own judgment about whether they are a good fit. Dani has lived experience with trans and queer identity, mental illness, and chronic pain.
