Ramona Robinson

Ramona Robinson is a certified hypnotherapist who runs RoRa Hypnosis, with offices in Wilmington, Delaware and West Chester, Pennsylvania. She sees clients in person and online. Her work centers on stress relief, breaking habits, building confidence and personal growth, and she describes her mission as helping people rise into who they were born to be.

Her path to this work began with a cancer diagnosis while she was raising two children as a single mother. Treatment included chemo, targeted therapy, radiation and multiple surgeries. It also made her face hard truths about how she had been living, and she came out of it changed. She says she offers lived experience, not only knowledge, and wants to be a lighthouse for people who feel lost in their own struggles.

Ramona is a Certified Master Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. Her certifications include Certified Consulting Hypnotist, Master Hypnotist, Licensed Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, Advanced 5-PATH Consulting Hypnotist, 7th Path Self-Hypnosis Instructor, Hypnotic Oncology, and Hypnosis and Childbirth. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) draws on hypnotherapy, NLP, psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. She also offers guided meditations, including on Insight Timer, to help people listen to their inner voice.

Outside the therapy room, Ramona modeled for AnaOno, a lingerie line for breast cancer patients and survivors, which named one of its mastectomy bras the Rora after her. She also wrote about shifting perceptions during chemo for Wildfire Magazine's December 2018 "Parenting With Cancer" issue. Clients describe her as kind, patient and attentive to their individual situation.
