Seraphisa, Music for Your Soul, is a duo made up of musician Marcus C Dolan and vocalist Georgie G Deyn. Serendipity brought them together in 2016, and they have since produced five albums and recorded numerous meditations and prayers. Their music, singing and lyrics are described as channelled from the realms of love and light, offering healing, inspiration and reflection. The tracks are intended for meditation, yoga, healing or simple pleasure.
Georgie G Deyn writes the lyrics and sings. She is a singer, therapist and teacher who works with the Light and Sound of the Higher Realms, including the Angelic Realm and the Divine Feminine. This work inspired her to create a healing modality called Angelic Harmony Therapy. Since 1999 she has worked with groups and individuals of all ages, helping them connect to their most Divine selves through meditation, singing, music and movement, along with messages she brings through from her angels and guides.
Marcus C Dolan handles music, recording and production. He has made music from an early age and is a pianist, drummer, producer and singer-songwriter. He is a music graduate with a background in audio engineering and composing for television and media, and has worked on programmes for clients including Channel 4, The Discovery Channel and The European Broadcasting Union. He has also performed live as a keyboard player and drummer with many artists and groups across genres. He records Seraphisa's music at his studio in Sussex, and sometimes takes a mobile set-up to Georgie's when inspiration strikes.
Georgie wanted to record her Angelic Harmony Therapy and was guided to work with Marcus. The two soon found a rapport, and Seraphisa came to be. Listeners are invited to feel the music in the body and to listen with heart, body and soul.
Worth Knowing
Seraphisa is a duo of vocalist Georgie G Deyn and musician Marcus C Dolan, brought together through what the bio calls serendipity in 2016, and they have since produced five albums and recorded numerous meditations and prayers. Georgie writes the lyrics and sings, working from messages she describes as channelled from the Light and Sound of the Higher Realms, including the Angelic Realm and the Divine Feminine. Marcus handles music, recording and production, with a music degree, a background in audio engineering, and past composing work for television and media for clients including Channel 4, The Discovery Channel and The European Broadcasting Union. The project's appeal comes from that pairing: lyrics rooted in a healing practice, shaped by a producer who has spent a career on broadcast and live work. The music is made for meditation, yoga, healing or simple pleasure, and the bio asks listeners to feel it in the body and listen with heart, body and soul. The catalogue is small enough to absorb in a few sittings, which suits anyone wanting a focused entry point rather than a sprawling back catalogue. Understanding Georgie's modality, Angelic Harmony Therapy, helps explain why the songs feel closer to guided sessions than conventional performances.
